I first started working on bicycles as a child, when I learnt to fix and service my bikes to keep them going, this fascination with how things work, what to look for when they go wrong and how to fix it has followed me through life.
My working life started with me qualifying as a toolmaker in the aircraft industry, before changing to the electronics industry working on the running and maintaining of production lines, this was followed by working in the technical service and research and development departments on solving customer issues & developing new products to meet customers future needs.
My enjoyment of cycling has grown over the years, both commuting by bike to work and weekend club & sportive rides. I am a member of Cycle Touring Club (CTC) and British Cycling and secretary of our local cycle club, Sodbury Cycle Sport
As part of my wish to provide a quality service, of older and newer bikes I attended a City & Guilds cycle mechanics course passing both City and Guilds parts 1 and 2, and also passing on top of the City and Guilds, The Bike Inn's certificate of Attainment.
The combining of these skills and my enjoyment of cycling allows me to offer an all round mobile cycle mechanic, cycle repair and service, so that customers can enjoy long, safe and reliable use of their bicycles.
